**Cesta na [Mangart](https://www.had.si/blog/2008/08/11/mangrt-fotografije-mangart-photos/?output_format=md)** oz. **Mangrtska cesta** je naša najvišja gorska cesta, saj se po njej vzpnemo/zapeljemo do višine 2072 metrov, in je dolga 12,2 kilometra. Cesto so gradili dve leti (če bi gradil SCT bi bilo dve desetletji??), z javnimi deli, v tridesetih letih prejšnjega stoletja. Vstopnina/parkirnina za avto je 5€. Temperatura, preden sva se spustila v dolino, je bila 12 stopinj.

Cesta je ozka, večino časa ne omogoča srečanj dveh vozil in precej spominja na [cesto na Biokovo nad Makarsko](https://www.had.si/blog/2008/04/30/park-prirode-biokovo-in-sv-jure-1762-nm-nad-makarsko/?output_format=md). Promet poteka povsem brez problemov. Celo dva avtobusa sta prišla do vrha, kar me je popolnoma presenetilo. Da o vseh motoristih in kolesarjih niti ne pišem.

_Cesta je urejena veliko boljše kot so naše avtoceste in začuda na njej **ne potekajo nobena dela**. In kljub temu, da je do vrha 12 kilometrov dolge ceste več predorov, v nobenem **ne odpada protipožrni omet**! Da o **kvaliteti asfalta** niti ne izgubljam besed. **Parkirišče** na koncu ceste **je veliko, urejeno in zelo čisto**. In **nobene nesreče** nisem videl v celem dnevu, **nobenega radarja**, **niti policista**._
