**Korte**, kraj nad Izolo, imajo po podatkih [Wikipedie](http://sl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korte) **655 prebivalcev**. Kljub svoji majhnosti, ima kraj dve odlični gostilni, ki ju loči samo cesta – **Hiša Torkla** in [**Gostilna Korte**](http://www.gostilnakorte.si/).

Prav tako je v Kortah urejen Hostel Stara Šola, ki ponuja 58 ležišč. Da o napisu “**Živela Sovjetska Zveza**“, ki je ohranjen na hiši poleg cerkve sv. Antona Puščavnika, niti ne izgubljam besed.
