Apple iOS 8 je tukaj

Že junija je Apple napovedal prihod izboljšanega operacijskega sistema iOS 8, ki uporabnikom prinaša zelo veliko novih sprememb. Včeraj je Apple omogočil začetek nadgradnje operacijskega sistema in vse skupaj je delovalo precej počasi. Danes zjutraj se je stanje malce popravilo in dve napravi sta že na iOS 8 verziji. Kaj je torej novega? Praktično vse! Ampak nekatere stvari ne boste opazili, druge pa vam bodo všeč, ali pač ne! Vedno je podobna situacija, ko Apple predstavi karkoli novega.

iOS 8 lahko naložite na naslednje naprave: iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPad 2, iPad 3rd generation, iPad 4th generation, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display. Sicer tuji spletni mediji ne priporočajo nalaganja na iPhone 4S, ker ne ponuja vseh “cukrčkov”, ki jih ostale naprave, predvsem pa je prepočasen in razvijalci pri Applu v tem primeru niso posvečali temu toliko pozornosti. Mogoče ob naslednji nadgradnji pride rešitev tudi za 4S uporabnike.

Novosti:

• Details make the experience – In iOS 8, you’ll find a convenient new way to respond to notifications. Helpful shortcuts to the people you talk to most. And time-saving features for managing your mail. All of which make the experience of using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that much better.
• Our smartest keyboard ever – iOS 8 makes typing easier by suggesting contextually appropriate words to complete your sentences. It even recognizes to whom you’re typing and whether you’re in Mail or Messages. Because your tone in an email may be different from your tone in a message.
• Family Sharing – Up to six people in your household can easily share each other’s purchases from iTunes, iBooks, and the App Store. You can also keep up with each other’s photos, calendars, locations, and more.
• iCloud Drive – The good news: You can work on any file, anywhere. The bad news: You can work on any file, anywhere. That includes presentations, PDFs, images, and more — right from iCloud. On whichever device you’re using, including your Mac or PC.

Spotlight now gives you suggestions from Wikipedia entries, places nearby, trending news, and more. It’s even smart enough to recognize context and location to offer you the most relevant information.

Moja izkušnja? Všeč mi je, da lahko sedaj iNaprave uporabljam v ležečem položaju in da se mi ikone zasuknejo. Všeč mi je, da so albumi precej bolj organizirani in da lahko preko sporočila pošljem tudi video, ali avdio posnetek. Da bom sedaj z nativno kamera aplikacijo lahko naredil Time Lapse posnetke in da bom lahko še lažje delil stvari.

Cel kup stvari je takšnih, da jih verjetno ne bom niti opazil, ampak so tukaj in delujejo. In verjetno bom čez kakšen dan, ob uporabi, odkril še cel kup ostalih stvari, ki jih sedaj niti ne opazim. Veliko pa jih bo šlo povsem mimo mene, saj jih ne bom nikoli uporabil, saj je dejstvo, da uporabljam zgolj določen nabor funkcionalnosti in ne vse.
