We did not stop the Holocaust. We did not stop the genocide in Rwanda. We did not stop the genocide in Srebrenica. We must stop the genocide in Gaza. Samo delček govora Nataše Pirc Musar na 80. zasedanju Generalne skupščine ZN v New Yorku, ki so mu tuji mediji namenili ogromno pozornosti in je Slovenijo postavil na pravo stran zgodovine, v očeh ljudi po celem svetu.

Govor predsednice Slovenije je bil angažiran in močan govor. Ni se dotaknila samo razmer v Gazi, ampak je nalila čistega vina tudi Varnostnemu svetu ZN, spregovorila o pritiskih na Mednarodno kazensko sodišče, se dotaknila enakosti spolov in govorila o Paktu za prihodnost.
Na Youtubeu je njen govor presegel že 4 miljone ogledov (vir) in ljudje se močno strinjajo z njenimi besedami, ki so močne in direktne. Brez floskul in politične korektnosti.

I have listened to a multitude of speakers from politicians to business leaders and with much thought and reflection I can categoricly say most have been platitudes, marketing BS, self promoting and outright lies. The recent speach by the elected leader of the military most powerful country in the world is proof of my analysis. Madame President of Slovania you are one of the few that speak honestly, thruthfuly but without malice , buffoonry or inuendos and without once raising your voice. Your country must be very proud of you. The world needs more leaders such as you. The United Nations is presently a broken organization and needs a strong and honest leader. I cast my vote for you Madame.
Končno nekdo, ki je rekel bobu bob in povedal, kar misli velik del sveta. Seveda je v Sloveniji desnica skočila na njen govor in so zopet dokazali, da so vedno, ampak res vedno na napačni strani zgodovine.
